Loading the live forecast…

Built from the live forecast. Wind bands are our rules of thumb. "Quietest" uses Eryri's 2025 counts for that weekday and month: a typical pattern, not a crowd forecast. The Llanberis Path was not counted.

Weekend tips

Share of the week's walkers by day on five counted paths, 2025 (Eryri). Saturday is the busiest day.

Frequently asked questions

What is the weather on Snowdon this weekend?

The cards above show the live summit forecast for the coming Saturday and Sunday from Open-Meteo, with the wind band, warnings, sunrise and sunset. They update every time you open the page.

Which path should I take this weekend?

First time? Eryri recommends the Llanberis Path. For quieter paths, the page shows the least busy counted path for that day of the week and month that still fits in daylight, from Eryri's 2025 walker counts. Saturdays are the busiest day.

What time should I start on Snowdon at the weekend?

Between sunrise and the latest safe start: sunset minus Eryri's time for your path minus a 1 hour buffer. The page works it out for each path.

Do I need to book parking at Pen y Pass at the weekend?

Until 1 November 2026, yes: book on JustPark at least an hour ahead. From then on it is pay and display through the winter, according to Eryri.
